This design jewel was designed for MOOYYY by Czech designer Natalie Vicenová within her Origami collection.

Designer Natalie Vicenová has designed an original brooche that is based on simple geometry, however, it plays a magnificent play of light and shadow. From Japanese culture, it lends delicacy and humble obscurity, as well as love for a minimalist expression. Jewelry was designed in paper form, like a traditional origami.

ORIGAMI COLLECTION

Origami collection presents design jewelry which is inspired by Japanese art of folding paper. It features necklaces, earrings, rings and brooches in two product lines, Noshi and Nami. It is characterized by simple geometry and fine shapes. Playfulness of the jewelry is characterized by sharp angles and simple geometry, it is highlighted by the combination of silver, gold and black rhodium finish. Noshi product line goes way back to Heian period, where samurai warriors used to exchange origami called „Noshi“ as a good luck charm. Nami product line refers to a wave as a traditional motive of Japanese art. Raging sea represents life and its hardships as well as strength and courage of those who overcome them.
